On Thursday we left Maine, traveled briefly through New Hampshire and into Boston, Massachusetts. We got a campsite for 3 nights ($17/night with electricity was a great deal we couldn't pass up) at Wompatuck State Park located in Hingham, MA, which is about 15 miles south of Boston. Friday we took a ferry from the dock at Hingham to Boston Harbor then spent the day walking the Freedom Trail of Boston and seeing as much of the city as we could by foot. It's pretty amazing to see grave stones with dates in the 1600s and buildings with such historical significance as the meeting place for the planning of the Boston Tea Party and the site of the Boston Massacre. The city is a beautiful one with lots of brick buildings and an energy that exuded Patriotism.

On the ferry ride we passed lots of little islands with houses dotting the shores
